Dum Pukht Gosht (Eid ul Adha Special)



Here is the Special Eid ul Adha Recipe for your family and Friends...!!!

Ingredients:

1 kg mutton

1 cup yogurt

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

2 onions, sliced

2 tbsp red chilli powder

2 tbsp coriander powder

2 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp garam masala powder

Salt as per taste

2 cups water

2 tbsp ghee

1/2 tsp saffron (soaked in 1/4 cup warm milk)

1 tbsp rose water

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


Instructions:

1. Wash the mutton and drain the water.

2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and salt.

3. Add the mutton to the mixture and marinate for at least 2 hours.

4. In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat ghee over medium heat.

5. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown.

6. Add marinated mutton and sauté for 5-6 minutes.

7. Add water and bring to a boil.

8. Lower the heat to low and cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid.

9. Let it simmer for 2 hours or until the meat is tender and cooked through.

10. Add soaked saffron and rose water to the pot and stir gently.

11. Cook on low heat for another 5-10 minutes.

12. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or naan.
